The Dog Stop® opened its doors in 2009 with owners and founders Jesse Coslov and Chris Kane as its only employees. In less than five years, the company has grown to over sixty employees, three company-owned locations, recently expanded corporate offices, and a thriving franchise in Emsworth. In addition to rapid expansion within the company, their aggressive plan to continue expansion presently includes negotiations to sell one more franchise in the Pittsburgh Area, as well as its first location in Delaware. Future expansion is set to include several additional markets outside the area including but not limited to Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Philadelphia, PA; and Morgantown, WV.

“We are very excited to have JC and Tammy join The Dog Stop® team! The new location is absolutely incredible and will provide the first all-inclusive dog care facility for Monroeville residents,” said The Dog Stop® owner Jesse Coslov.

"We are extremely excited to have the opportunity of serving the local community by bringing the area’s first full-service dog care facility to Monroeville. The amount of support and partnerships from surrounding businesses has been overwhelming, and we look forward to cultivating many new relationships in the future. We’ve been a part of The Dog Stop® family since the beginning: first as a satisfied customer, and now as a satisfied franchisee. The amount of knowledge, support, and guidance from The Dog Stop® during this entire process has been immeasurable, and we feel that their high level of experience, brand equity, and industry-leading standards will help make this a successful business for years to come," said JC McGreehan.

Chief Operating Officer, Mark Lando, says of The Dog Stop® Monroeville, "We are very excited about the opening of our new franchised store in Monroeville as it validates both our store model and franchise services package. The franchise owners were customers of our Washington Boulevard store, and their decision to become a franchisee was due to their experiences at the store and the long list of value added services and ongoing support we offer as a franchisor."
