About Us
The Dog Stop® Lafayette is a 10,000+ square-foot, full-service dog care destination proudly serving the dogs and families of Acadiana for more than 11 years.
Our facility features four indoor/outdoor play yards, giving dogs plenty of space to exercise, socialize, and enjoy their day in a safe and engaging environment. We welcome dogs of all ages and energy levels, from playful puppies ready to make new friends to older pups who prefer a quieter pace.
Our daycare experience includes live PupCams, so pet parents can check in on their dogs throughout the day. We also offer daily enrichment activities designed to keep dogs engaged both mentally and physically, helping make every visit a positive and rewarding experience.
For overnight stays, we offer a range of boarding accommodations from standard options to luxury suites, allowing families to choose the experience that best fits their dog’s needs.
Our Fear Free® grooming salon is staffed by experienced groomers with more than 20 years of industry experience. From deshedding baths and full haircuts to nail grinds and more, our grooming team has the expertise to help dogs look and feel their best while keeping their comfort a priority.
Our retail store carries a selection of toys, chews, raw food, and other dog essentials, making The Dog Stop® Lafayette a convenient one-stop destination for your pup’s care and everyday needs.
Whether your dog joins us for daycare, boarding, grooming, or simply needs a few new treats or toys, our goal is to provide exceptional care, engaging experiences, and peace of mind for pet parents.

About the Owner
Trey Boone, a Lafayette native, opened The Dog Stop® Lafayette in 2015 after recognizing a need for a true one-stop destination for dog care in the Acadiana area.
What began with a vision to make quality dog care more convenient for local pet parents has grown into a team of more than 25 dedicated dog lovers who share that same passion for exceptional care.
Today, Trey and the team continue to build on that original vision, creating a place where dogs can play, stay, get pampered, and feel right at home.
After more than a decade of serving Lafayette and the surrounding communities, The Dog Stop® Lafayette is excited to continue caring for local dogs and being part of the community for many years to come.
